| The NCAA
and the NFHS have joined forces to provide an online job-listing service
for those individuals wishing to advertise job openings at local high
schools, as well as those who are seeking jobs in high school athletics
or activity programs. By visiting www.ncaa.org or www.nfhs.org on the
Internet, individuals can submit an ad for a job opening simply by accessing
the Web site and calling up a template that will permit them to submit
the copy for the ad, along with billing information. Cost is 75 cents
per word, and the ad is effective for one week. Billing is done by the
NCAA through e-mail.
There is no charge for an individual
to access the Web site, either through the NCAA or the NFHS, and look
for potential job openings. Those interested in reading the advertisements
will be able to access the information in two ways. First is by position,
by clicking on a directory of administrative and coaching positions
to access whatever advertisements have been posted in that area.
In addition, the site also lists
advertisements state-by-state for both colleges and high schools.
