2008 BOARD GOALS

New Initiatives:

• Investigate, develop and secure new revenue sources
• Maximize utilization of the endowment funds for benefit of member services
• Target key states to increase membership
• Begin selection of the third strategic plan committee
• Revise and update the NIAAA Policies, Operations and Procedures manual
• Revise and update the committee evaluation process (chairs, vice chairs and members)

On Going Initiatives:

• Increase NIAAA membership by 10% in one year from the current level
• Continue efforts to encourage ownership of all members in the association by attending section meetings and state conferences
• Continue the Professional Development program
• Continue to promote middle school athletic administration
• Continue efforts to complete all recommendations in the present strategic plan
• Continue to enhance relationships with other strategic alliances
